In 2006—2007 Cowen Construction, along with Davies Architects, worked on several Tulsa Campus interior improvements for the St. John Health System. These projects included improvements to the Health System Plaza, a radiology renovation, a new Cyberknife Facility, an MRI expansion and medical office renovations.

Cowen designed and implemented a non-disruption plan for construction. Once work was ready to begin, the projects were well coordinated with the hospital operations, and the construction ran smoothly along with the given schedule. Cowen won the 2007 Build Oklahoma Award for these projects. This award is given to the project considered one of the “Best of The Best” in Oklahoma.
